So i did it. After wrestling with myself for quite some time I announced my running for a place in the openSUSE Community Board. I think the next board has a great opportunity to set the direction where this whole thing goes. Especially as there are a lot of construction sites nobody touches with a ten foot pole. Mostly because they involve decision making and nobody has the feeling to be “elected” to decide, i guess. This is definitely going to change. So I hope I can roll up my sleeves and get on it :)
