Old Fart, New Page

Hey,

I thought its time for me to move out of the 90s. Therefore I had a look around for some neat CMS to drive my page. I’m not 16 anymore and want to hack together my own page (I know, I know, I’m lame). After some 10^²³ seconds looking around I found WordPress which is kind of nice. And because life taught me a couple of times in the past, that in this day and age you have to have a blog to be heard, I though I go for it, so here it is. I still feel kind of stupid writing something to /dev/internet, which returns, as you know, very often NULL and nothing more. Lets see how this works out and how long I keep it around. Oh I also, in the light of the recent German court cases about copyright of images on $random homepages, i shrunk my image collection to stuff where I own the copyright or where I (think I) know that the owner wont sue me. I moved them to flickr. Which is painfully slow and the digikam integration sucks hairy b****. Not enough to use the f-spot mono glump, although I must admit that I have tried it. But hey I want to move out of the 90s right? That’s it for now (I bet you a 100 bucks that this is the last post for a long time ;-).
